Who are we?

We are Ashleigh and Hollie Henderson, two very different sisters with a shared love of nature and creativity. We developed and launched our range of 100% natural skincare in 2020. For a long time, we have both been interested in natural alternatives to chemical laden beauty products which led us to create our own. After some encouragement from family and friends, we started to sell our products and have been blown away by the response!

We’re both constantly daydreaming and creating which has led us to grow our business into a lifestyle brand. In addition to our skincare & aromatherapy products, we now stock our own range of eco-luxury cards, accessories and clothing – all designed by us. We are also looking forward to introducing products from other artisan makers who share our values – watch this space!

 

Why Sunbeam?

Although we bicker constantly (that’s sisters, for you!), one thing we can always agree on is that our mum, Clare, is most incredible mother in the universe.

In March 2020 she was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. Whilst we were utterly devastated, scared and angry that this could happen to such an amazing person (twice), our Mum continued on with her life with a smile on her face. She carried on as though nothing had happened, spread joy like confetti and never complained throughout any of her treatment.

She is a constant beam of sunshine in our lives and it is this light and positivity that we want to share with you.

She’s our Sunbeam.

 

About Our Products

Skincare:

We know that there is nothing better for your skin than the goodness provided by real, natural ingredients offered to us by the planet in their authentic forms. Our products are brimming with the finest raw butters, nourishing oils, botanicals, mineral-rich salts and pure essential oils.

We make every product in small batches with the utmost care and attention. Even our jars are hand designed (see below!). 

We refuse to use any synthetic ingredients and all our products 100% cruelty-free and vegan (although some future products will contain beeswax - please see individual product listings for clarification).

Our Jars

We live in rural Cheshire, England, and our gardens are brimming with the most beautiful plants which are lovingly tended to by our head gardener (Ashleigh!). All of our lids are individually crafted by ourselves using our own flowers, petals and leaves. If you purchase one of our products that comes in a jar, know that the lid design has been lovingly created by hand and is absolutely unique. We hope that once you finish using the product, you will re-use your jar.

 

Clothing, Homeware & Lifestyle Products:

We’re all about spreading joy like confetti, which led us to create our range of positive clothing and accessories! All of the designs have been created by us and embroidered by a lovely lady who lives locally. All of our products are ethically made from sustainable materials (such as organic cotton & recycled polyester) as this is incredibly important to us.

We are also excited to introduce products from other like-minded artisan makers – coming soon!

 

Our Packaging

It is really important to us that our products are as environmentally friendly as possible. We try to keep our packaging to a minimum and use recyclable/compostable materials where we can.
